Équipe Formule is looking for a reliable, hardworking, and punctual individual to join our dynamic team in a stimulating environment for the position of Automotive Mechanic.

Job Summary

As an Automotive Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing a wide range of vehicles, ensuring their optimal performance and safety. You will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections, diagnosing mechanical issues, performing repairs, and adhering to strict safety protocols.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Inspect vehicles and establish a diagnosis of the necessary repairs based on the results of preventive inspections, customer information, and/or technical advisor's input.
• Repair, replace, or adjust defective vehicle components according to professional methods and work standards.
• Inform the technical advisor of any additional problems identified during the repair process.
• Perform periodic maintenance on vehicles, conduct road tests, and complete the required reports.
• Collaborate in tire changes, calibration, alignment, installation, and handling.
• Maintain your work area and ensure the proper maintenance of the equipment at your disposal.
• Adhere to the SST prevention plan and identify any potential hazards in the workplace.
• Take the time to explain the operations performed, present the general condition of the vehicle, and any upcoming repairs.
• Pay close attention to the vehicles entrusted to you.
• Perform any other tasks related to your position as requested by your supervisor.

Requirements

• Diploma of Vocational Studies (DVS) in Automotive Mechanics;
• Work experience as a mechanic (asset);
• Driver's license;
• Customer-oriented approach, rigor, and team spirit;
• Sense of planning and organization.

Working Conditions

• Full-time position - 40 hours;
• Compensation based on experience;
• Ongoing training provided by the manufacturer;
• State-of-the-art Hunter equipment.
